Taking wax off surfboards is a chore. Everyone has their own way of doing it, and none of them work well. My method was an old Chili's gift card, because it contoured to the board and got into pressure dings. I got tired of settling, so I built Trace, with the goal to create the go to method for wax removal. 

I'm Johan, a surfer and engineer living in San Diego. I grew up surfing in Maine and moved to San Diego to chase year round waves and work. For years It's been my dream to make a product, and KOVE is my passion project to pursue just that.

Trace is the first of KOVE's products, but it won't be the last.
